Join past and present skiers and coaches from the US Disabled Water Ski World Team for an opportunity to learn how to ski or to sharpen your skills as a disabled water ski coach!

Learn to water ski from some Team USA's best! All equipment will be provided as well as 1:1 coaching, and of course a good time!
The cost is $45 per skier per day. Only the first 40 skiers will be guaranteed a spot.

We will also be hosting an Advanced Coaches Clinic taught by Denise Bowness, a previous US Team Coach. This will include classroom work, equipment set up training, video movement analysis, on the water training, and a chance to meet other coaches from around the country.
The cost is $200 per coach.

============================================

Water Skiers with Disabilities Association (WSDA) is joining forces with the Rock Aqua Jays (RAJ), the Aquanuts, On the Edge Children's Foundation, Anne's Angels, Colsac Skiers, and others to provide a chance of a lifetime opportunity. Water Skiers with Disabilities Association (WSDA) puts together the USA team for Disabled Worlds that was competing in Australia this year. This collaboration represents the best of the best all they way around. It is an exciting day for water skiing, water sports, and toad sports.

We would benefit from you and others sharing this availability out to your networks to help us make sure we get a good showing of guest participants that would want to use the sit skis and other adaptive equipment to enjoy water skiing with us. We have folks from around the country coming in to make this the best experience possible, so let's take full advantage of it.

Adaptive Sports and Recreation and other disability services have a new haven

The Awesome Autumn Ability Fest 2016 will show a convergence of collaboration and regional pooling of resources to make immediate shifts in what the Lake Country will experience being available in social good.
This is all a result of two thing coming together from concurrently happening today Sunday Sept. 27th in Waukesha and Dodge Counties.     The Awesome Autumn Outing took place at Lapham Peak, and Red Roskopf Ability Fest took place in the Clubhouse of the Golf Club at Camelot in Lomira.     Red Roskopf Day collaborates with the Red Cross for a Blood Drive in Lomira in Honor and Memorial to Red Roskopf November 9th.
The groups all circulating around these event and sponsoring and hosting them have come together to combine them together for an all new mega event that is designed to accumulate 180 people pledging to attend with condition on how their own personal calend will end up looking in the spring.     The event is scheduled based on the Packer schedule, so it is not known until spring which Sunday it is.    Red Roskopf Day has been on the latter Sundays in September, so far, so a guess would be to anticipate a selection of one of the last Sundays in September like that again.      If people's personal calendars remain open for the Sunday selected in spring, we would expect they would come and be a part of the Clubhouse Community Social.
The event will Celebrate 26 Years of the Americans with Disabilities Act and at the same time Celebrate Community and Families.
Autism Solution Pieces, Snappin' Ministries, and Jesus Cares Ministries are the founding groups for the Awesome Autumn Ability Fest.
Please mark your calendars for these seasonal notes, and keep in touch with Kurt, Sue, and Alana Roskopf to opt into the updates and bulletins on these developments and determinations:       kurt@ada25mkenow.tk 262 7020 7031           http://facebook.com/roskopfs

This all comes at the timing of the Rare Super Red Blood Harvest Moon Lunar Eclipse:    How cosmic?  !!

Follow-up to Adaptive Sports and Recreation survey

We all stand to gain some great insights from the EveryBODY Plays! efforts to get some collective results for our region.
We are intending to reach those individuals that have a disability and are >18 year old as well as those that are the parent of a child with a disability 3-17 years old.
This is all about adaptive sports and recreation.
I hope you will join me in getting this in mass distribution out to thousands to see this survey for the results we are looking for.

The Medical College of Wisconsin Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is conducting the survey.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From Moriah of MCW:

I am happy to announce that we have 134 responses from adults with a disability, and 85 responses from parents of a child with a disability! However, this is only 25% of the responses we need.

We are asking our community partners again to promote the survey on their websites, Facebook pages, and anywhere else you think people would be able to access the survey. You can cut and paste the text below to include on your website or Facebook page:

“Please consider taking a short survey to give feedback about adaptive sports and recreation.
If you have a disability and are >18 year old follow this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/PMRadult

If you are the parent of a child with a disability 3-17 years old follow this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/PMRchild

As a reminder, I have cards with the survey links on them if you would like some! We need about 1000 responses to get reliable results, so I would appreciate it if you could promote this as much as possible! If you have any questions feel free to email or call me!

Sincerely,
