Friday June 26th
Browns Lake
Adaptive Water Skiing
10 AM to 2 PM
Facebook Event posting

Thank you to the Free Ski Lessons In Memory of Lynzay Maire Legois for coordinating the day and donating the tow boat set-up for a great opportunity for a few to get out and use the sit ski.

If you know anyone that uses a wheelchair or otherwise would benefit from using a sit ski for a water ski experience, please let us know: 262-720-7031 kurt@sitski.tk We are thinking that we might possibly have up to 5 adaptive water skiers going that day, so it will be a nice enjoyable session.

Once we have participants registered, we will confirm it with the location details for meeting up with us for the time on the sit ski.

Introduction and Instructor Training for
Adaptive Water Skiing

host site by Shawano Ski Sharks
211 Riverside Dr, Shawano, WI 54166

Lead Trainer - Travis Lukens (founder Colsac Skiers & WWSF Disabled Division Director)

10 AM to 4 PM

We welcome people with disabilities to inquire if we have room in our plans for 10 skiers with disabilities to get in the water.    If you don't make that list, you are welcome to come for the land experience and to cheer on those that do get in the water.
This is the first chance of the year for people interested in learning how adaptive water skiing is provided to learn from our experienced side skiers and coordinators of adaptive water skiing.
The public is welcome, so please pass this information around.
Those interested to participate as a student with a disability to water ski and those wanting to get this instruction on how to provide water skiing for those that have a disability, please email tlukens@me.com
Please do let us know if you plan on coming and if we can plan on you enjoying the food and drinks with us.
Walk-ins welcome, but please be patient as we complete our arrangements and activities for those that have registered in advance.
